President’s Report
On 27 October 2020 Trent sent an email to the membership advising them that for personal reasons he needed some time away from the Association.
This matter was discussed at the November Committee meeting. The Committee will continue to operate as per normal in Trent’s absence. As per the Constitution, the Vice President will chair General and Committee meetings at which the President is absent. Correspondence to and from the Association will continue to go through the Secretary.
Any queries relating to this should be directed to the Secretary. We wish Trent all the best and hope to see him back at the Association soon.

Treasurer’s Report
Here is the latest from our Treasurer, Andrew Micenko (treasurer@wacua.asn.au)
Hello everyone,
At the last committee meeting on 3rd November, the committee discussed the current budget, and the amount of the loss that is proposed for the financial year. We were all in agreement that $15,000 is an acceptable target to remain above, and that the loss this year is justified due to the preseason dinner falling into this year’s budget instead of last year’s. The current finances can be downloaded below.
So far for the year, our major expenses have been on social events including the preseason dinner, coming in at $3464. In the last month, we’ve paid $500 to Perth and Tatts for social memberships which enable us to use the venue for our general meetings. We’ve also had some more money come in for merchandise orders. I’ve contacted our supplier about placing an extra order, and am waiting to hear back from them regarding minimum order sizes. Finally, some money has gone out for the bar tab at the last general meeting ($121.50) and merchandise postage ($64.95).
With the WACA not hosting a test match this season, we’ve delayed the life members’ breakfast, and will look at incorporating it into one of our other planned events, with the grand final breakfast being the committee’s current preferred option. That means we have no other events planned for November, so there shouldn’t be many outgoings this month.
Our current balances are:
Cheque account: $1,239.99
Savings account: $14,382.90
Cash: $241.00
Total: $15,863.89
That about sums it up. As always, feel free to ask if there are any questions, or send an email to treasurer@wacua.asn.au. Thanks!
