It is with great sadness that we learn today of the passing of WACUA Life Member, Jim D’Arcy-Evans.

Jim stood in 14 First-Class, 2 Limited Overs and 1 Women’s Test match. He also serviced WA Premier Cricket for 15 years and was a member of the former umpire’s appointment board.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Pam, Jim’s wife of 58 years, and the entire D’Arcy-Evans family during this time.

Jim’s funeral is being held on Friday, September 7th at 1:30pm at Oakwood Funerals, 506 Marmion Street, Booragoon WA 6154. A private cremation is to follow after the service.
